We are getting closer and closer to our very
special weekend event with Teresa Collins.
I am beyond thrilled that Teresa has chosen
to spend a weekend with us March 4th & 5th 2011.
It is going to be an incredible weekend!
We are a little over 2/3 full in all 3
classes. If you are interested in attending

but with CHA right around the corner I can't

Special Thank You To Donna Downey And Bill For Another Fantastic Weekend Of Creativity At The Store!
We had an absolute blast with Donna & Bill this
weekend. I sat in on all 3 classes and did more
creating in 2 days than I have had a chance to
do in 3 months. Sometimes owning a LSS
leaves little time for actual
scrapping/creating.
Donna was so full of energy
and kept the laughs going during the
workshops. Bill as always was full of
smiles and good humor also.
I was definately correct in my prediction
that the Beloved Album Workshop would be
my favorite of the 9 workshops Donna has
taught at the store! It is an incredible
album full of Prima goodies. I did mine
in the colors Donna designed the workshop
with since mine if a gift for a special
girl close to my heart on her birthday.
However a few gals changed their colors
up to suit their families and all the
finished results were beautiful! I know we have
several blog readers in other states and
countries and if you ever get a chance to
attend one of Donna's workshops you MUST!
You will absolutely love it and her!

• small detail brush for watercolor (about a size 7 round brush)
• glass jar, mug or brush bucket (for holding dirty brushes)
• box cutter (optional – used to distress the cardboard edges)

• roll of 1” masking tape
• craft/fabric glue

A Peek At Our Snow Jam January 2011
Normally I do not post personal pics etc
on the store blog but thought I would
share a few pics taken during all
the snow festivities this week.
Iris Jennifer's Australian Shepherd has wanted to be
out in this mess as much as she can. Since we live on
2.5 acres Jennifer has been taking her out to her play
pen playing catch a bit. No way are we playing
let's explore 2.5 acres of snow/ice with her.
Loving the triangle of foot prints and paw prints.
Opened the bedroom door took this pic and quickly
closed the door.
Somewhere under here is the driveway and the
side driveway going around back
to Gerald's Garage-Mahal.
Gerald clearing what he calls run way tracks
in case we have an emergency and have to
get out while he is back in Knoxville.
Never thought he would ever be using a
snow shovel here at the house.
I don't need run way tracks on the drive
way and I sure don't need any going around
to the backyard or Garage-Mahal!
I have
4 one pound bags of Dunkin ground coffee and
6 bottles of Liquid French
Vanilla Coffee Creamer. My
snow day essentials.
I am good for at least a week.
Not driving in this! :)
The lower part of the backyard nothing but
white..white...white...I am ready to see
green..green....green

Snowed/Iced In
I know everyone in the area already knows it but....yes
we are closed again today due to the snow and ice.
I am hoping the little bit of sun peeking out this afternoon
and the wind will help the deep freeze a little bit. However
since the temp is not cooperating and wont get above
freezing today it's not looking real good until tomorrow
afternoon.
I am starting to go stir crazy however all 3 pups are
loving the snow fun.
Measured in the backyard Monday morning.
Emmy's (3 years old) latest play time trick catching snowballs
Miss Cocoa is so old she just prefers to lay in the snow
and watch the fun.
Iris (2 years old) just wants to play ball in her over
sized play pen snow/ice who cares :)

My friend Peggy and I both have been shopping
the Hobby Lobby Christmas Clearance for goodies
this past week. She came in today and spent
the afternoon decorating the store seasonal
tree for Valentines. I love having a
Hobby Lobby right behind the store and
during several trips this week when
Christmas Clearance was 80% then 90%
I was able to get all kinds of red/pink
ball ornaments, clear beaded garland,
all kinds of bling/crystal ornaments
and more for our Valentine tree.
I took a few quick pics with my cell
phone on the way out tonight and here's
a peek. I will post a full size view
as soon as I take one. I LOVE it!
