Boy there sure has been alot to post about today/tonight and
I still have alot more to post tommorrow :)

This Saturday's 10 for $10 crop has 5 spaces available.

If you are interested in joining in on the cropping fun
please call the store to reserve your spot :)

Yard Sale Saturday October 13th 9am-3pm

We have had several ladies sign up to participate as sellers at our
next yard sale (2 weeks from this Sat) but we still have spaces
available for anyone who would like to attend as a seller.

This is our 3rd yard sale and we will run it just like the other two.

Highlights:

There is no fee to attend as a seller.

We will set up in the parking lot in front of the
store weather permitting.

Each seller is responsible for pricing their own items.

Each seller is responsible for their own change fund.
No money will be run thru the store.

If you have folding tables and can bring them to display
your goodies for sale please do. I only have a limited
amount of folding tables that can be used :)

During the last few sales all kinds of items were sold
including stamps, Sizzix items, idea books, albums, altered
project kits, paper packs, embellishments, totes, shelves,
misc tools, markers, ink pads and more.

If you are interested in attending the sale as a seller
please call or email the store asap so we can make sure
we have everyone on the list.

Monday Morning Breakfast Crops

Starting this Monday October 1st we will be having
Monday Morning Crops each and every Monday
from 9:00am-2:00pm.

Crop Fee of $10 includes

Cropping at our oak tables
Use of all die cut center tools
Use of our Sewing Machine
Light Breakfast Goodies
(donuts, pastries, juice and coffee)
a different make it and take it each week
10% off all reg price merchandise during the crop
plus lots of gal time fun

Space is limited to 10 ladies each Monday. If you
have a group of friends who would like to come together
we can definately accomodate you.

We have already started taking signups for the next
few Mondays so feel free to reserve a spot a week or
two in advance if you know when you would like to come
and join us.

Fall Card Class Saturday Oct 13th 9:30-12:00noon

Learn to make 4 different fall themed cards
in this 2.5 hour class.

We will be using an assortment of papers from:

Making Memories Halloween Collection
Fancy Pants True Collection
Bo Bunny's Fall Collection
Plus assorted embellishments and some
chocolate thrown in for fun :)

Class fee of $20 includes all supplies
plus the 2.5 hour class.

As with all of our classes kits with full
directions and colored pictures will be
available for purchase starting the day
after the class for anyone who cannot
make the class but would like to make
the projects.

Inking Technique Class Offered on Tuesday Night

We have had a few requests to offer this
class during a weekday evening so we are:)

This class will be on
Tuesday October 9th
7pm-9pm

Our Ms. Kimberly will be your instructor.
Each student will complete a 2 page layout
using Basic Grey Paper, American Crafts
Velvet Ric-Rack, Cats Eye Ink, adaptor
stylus, tags and more.

The $20 class fee includes all the
supplies and instruction plus the
cats eye ink pad and stylus are
yours to take home.

Space is limited to 10 students.

Please call the store to reserve your spot
or if you love the layout and would like to
purchase a kit complete with instructions
and colored pictures these will be
available the day after the class.

New Technique Tuesday Stamps

New Heidi Swapp Goodies

We received a box full of Heidi items this afternoon.

I didnt have a chance to take pics of everything that came in but
here are a few of the items. We got several styles of journal spots, corners and acrylic stamps.

More Heidi and Technique Tuesday En-route

Hi Everyone

I am online placing and tracking some orders tonight so I thought I would make a quick post.

I received shipping email notices from both Heidi Swapp and Technique Tuesday that boxes are on their way...

We expect both shipments on Tuesday and I will post pics and info as soon as we
check the goodies in.

I had a blast yesterday at our 10 hour crop with all the gals. Everyone was so
busy with projects. Jennifer shared a great make and take pocket card with us. I made a Christmas one using Basic Grey Papers, Bazzill and an Autumn Leaves Flourish Stamp. I also got to spend several hours working on my new project.

It is a license plate altered album from all the ports we stopped at on our cruise.

I am using the metal plates as dividers for the pictures taken in the different ports. I cut 20 or so pieces of chipboard the same size as the plates for the pages.

The Cloud 9 travel paper that arrived on Thursday is perfect for this album.

I will post a few pics as the album progresses :)

I will post a few pics of the day in just a few minutes and then I am going to
curl up with my 4 new mags and do some studying/planning :)

I have been so busy at the store the past few days that I didnt have time
to post any pics of the day so I thought I would post a few tonight :)

when we were
snorkeling in St. Thomas last week :)

Prima Goodies

Boy has this week been a busy shipment week :)

Today we received some of the Prima Watercolor
papers, the cute little mini packs of sprite
flowers (mini me) 24 different color combinations
in cute little packs. 12 flowers per pack.

We also received some of the little
purses of felt grande flowers.

Some of the gals cropping tommorrow got to
try the watercolor paper at CKU Nashville
told me what great fun it is.

Before I left the store tonight I set up for
the 10 for $10 crop tommorrow and I pulled
some paper, adirondack pads and a H2O pen
so I can play during the crop :)

Scrapbook Yard Sale Saturday Oct 13th

The Yard Sale Date has been set.

We will be having our 3rd Yard Sale Event
Saturday October 13th 9am-3pm

This sale will be run like the past ones.

We will set up (weather permiting) in the
parking lot and sidewalk area in front of
the store.

We will not charge any fee for sellers to
participate

All Sellers will set up their own items
bringing folding tables if they can.

All Sellers will handle their own transactions
and have their own change funds. No money will
run thru the store.

We will promote the sale with flyers, emails
and message board posts.

We will have a crop after the sale for those wanting
to spend the day selling/buying/cropping

A Picture or Two a Day

I thought it would be fun to post a few different random pics each day.

Who knows what themes they will be.

Sometimes they will be related to my life, they may be from store events, neat ideas I see on other sites/blogs, something a customer makes and brings in to share with us or just something that catches my eye :)

Today's pictures are more from our cruise :)

One kinda neat thing I did was each time we arrived into a new port I took a picture or two of that country's flag.

That way when glancing thru all the pics on the laptop files I know that each flag starts pictures from a new port. Plus it is neat to have a pic of the flags blowing in the wind from everywhere we visited :)

Due to all my dental surgeries/varied store
