Pink Paislee Booth Summer 2011 CHA In Chicago Last Week

Pink Paislee always have a fantastic release
at CHA. My favorite was the Nantucket Collection.
Soft beachy pastels and washed/pickle white
collection. The embellishments are fantastic and
include clear stamps, wood shapes, chipboard
tiles, trading cards, ephemera and ribbon trims.
We of course ordered Nantucket and also
Vintage Vogue, Phantom the Halloween Collection
by House Of Three and
the new Mistables collection.

The Mistables collection
includes 12x12 papers, journal tags, scallop
ribbons, fabric flowers and resist chipboard
alphabets.

Jenni Bowlin's Booth Summer CHA 2011 In Chicago

Here's a peek at Jenni's booth from last week
at CHA.

We enjoyed chatting with her and her hubby
Jared.

She released new Halloween and Christmas
lines which are double sided paper
along with new Alterable Alphas/
Numbers, Ranger Inks, Foam Stamps,
doily flowers and decorative brads.
All her new goodies will be shipping
to us around August 8th.

The Graphic 45 Booth Summer 2011 CHA In Chicago

Here's a peek at the Graphic 45 booth at CHA
in Chicago last week. They always have
one of the best booths at each CHA.
Full of samples and inspiration. The
gang at Graphic 45 was very generous in
donating prize goodies for our
Fall Scrap-a-ganza Saturday October 1st.

I will post pics of all the product we
ordered from all the different companies
after I finish posting all the booth pics.
From Graphic 45 we will have the ABC Primer and
new Christmas Collection coming in. Here's

The Basically Bare Booth In Chicago Summer 2011 CHA

New Products from Basically Bare coming to the store. We first saw this company at the Scrapbook Expo in Duluth a few weeks before CHA. We visited their booth at CHA and enjoyed a cute dress form make and take. We all loved their mini book albums as well as the cute chipboard and canvas accents. These items will be in the store soon and we will be using them in our kits also.

We're Back From Summer 2011 CHA In Chicago

We're home from Summer 2011 CHA in Chicago.
We got home last night and I was so tired
I was in bed within 30 minutes
of walking in the door. The 4 of us had
a fantastic time walking the show floor
each day and then sharing laughs in the
after show hours fun each night.

We ended our CHA fun with a post
CHA dinner at a local Italian Restaurant
with live entertainment. We laughed like
crazy while being entertained by Elvis,
Madonna, George Strait, The Jackson 5,
Tina Turner, Lady Gaga, Billy Ray Cyrus,
Sonny & Cher and many more personalities.

We had such active non stop 10-12-14 days and
I took +1500 pictures so
I decided I would wait and post slide shows/pics
after we got home.

We ordered lots of fantastic new product from all our
usual favorites and some new companies we love. We also
discussed several new ideas and events for the store
which I will be sharing over the next few weeks :)

To mention a few we have the following

mid-August with a few doing staggered
shipping of 1-2 releases in Aug, then

CHA Day 1 The Fancy Pants Designs Booth

Fancy Pants Designs has always been one of our top 5 companies.
We always place our order with Dan and every summer for some
reason he remembers his "Atlanta Girls" and we love catching
up with him :) Here are some pics of all the goodies in the
booth.
We ordered all the collections and the new brag books
in black and red.

CHA Highlights Day 1 Glitz Booth

We had an absolute fantastic 1st day at CHA!

Highlights were visiting with Teresa and all
her gang. Teresa is by far one of the
most genuine people I have met since
opening my store. I love her thoughts
and insights on how women need to
support each other and as she said
yesterday "inner beauty is what matters
most". Loved seeing her daughter
Gentry again and meeting Nick (the man behind
the scenes and putting a face with the
guy on the other end of the phone :)

We also visited with Ginger and the Glitz girls
and placed our order for all 3 new lines.
These are incredible in person. We all agreed
that they are the best yet. I will post
a slide show below but unfortunately my camera
was on low resolution so the pics are not
real clear. I didnt realize it until half
way thru the day.

We also placed orders with Crate Paper,
Studio Calico, October Afternoon, Fancy Pants
and of course Pink Paislee.

I took a ton of pics of all the new items
in all of the booths plus 100's of pictures
of inspiration all over the show floor. We will
be uploading them over the next several days :)

Let the CHA Fun Begin

We arrived safe and sound yesterday.
Had a great dinner with the girls.
They hit the indoor pool last night while
I hit the gym. Getting ready to head out
for day one in just a few minutes.
We will post pics and slide shows
through out the week :)

Cocoa Pup Update..I meant to post this last night but I was busy with the lil patient all night :)

Just getting home with my "baby" Cocoa.
It is rapid onset Glaucoma in her good eye.
We are in the wait and see mode. 3 different
drops through out the night. She is in quite a bit
of pain. Then we will have
...her eye pressure measured tomorrow and then
again Monday looking for decreases. Normal is
5 with a margin of +20 she is at 59 now. Last time
it was emergency surgery/injections to deaden
the optic nerves and relieve all pain which left
her blind in the left eye. Keeping fingers crossed
we can save this eye. Once again no signs/symptoms
she woke up with the inflamed swollen eye.
Thank you for all the calls, texts and emails
everyone. It means a lot I absolutely love this
girlie :)
