A very special man passed away this week who we absolutely loved and I would like to attend his Celebration Of Life Service tomorrow.

Donna Downey Workshop Updates
Just a quick post to update the July workshops.
We have 4 spaces left in the Friday night class
and between 3 & 5 spots left in the Saturday
Classes.
We are holding spots for several gals. We can
only hold these spots without payment thru this

Donna Downey July Workshop Update Registration Starts Today
I just got off the phone with Bill and we firmed up everything for
their visit in July :)
3 classes this time all are
different from the January classes we offered.
The classes will be held
Friday night and Saturday July 16th & 17th.
Classes will be limited to 12 students.
Remember they sold out really fast last time
so if you are interested and it is after
store hours please send us an email at

Sign ups will start immediately and we ask that you
prepay at the time of registration in order to
hold your spot in the workshop. I will post basic
tool and supply lists later today/tomorrow (paint brushes,
heat guns, gesso, etc)

Take the next step in fabric scrapbooking and create an album that blends transparencies with fabric pages that pop with texture and dimension as we work with my new line of iron-on designs, quilted sentiments and shapes. Learn techniques for applying concepts to both fabric and paper as well as distressing canvas using inks and watercolors.

Robert palmer said it best, but beyond the dancing girls in the background and the 1980’s reference, this class is all about RESIST techniques! You will learn and design a sampler style visual handbook as you create and experiment with 10 distinctly different resist techniques, using paints, wax, inks, glues, matte medium, crackles and UTEE. Learn how and when to use the products you already have in your scrap supplies at home to create additional layers of dimension and texture to your scrapbooking, cardmaking, and artistic style. Using your newly created sampler handbook as your guide, the class culminates with the creation of a one of a kind and unique art piece that you create applying the techniques learned in the workshop.

Mother's Day Weekend Reminder
Just posting a quick reminder that we are closed this
weekend for Mother's Day.

We are picking out paint colors, light fixtures
and fans this week and looks like we will be able
to start moving in 2-3 weeks :)
There have been several new mid season releases
this past week and I will post an update on
the lines we ordered later this weekend or
first of the week.

Jen's Created A Vacation Mini Album Kit Using Teresa Collins New Travel Ledger Collection
Kits are $23 and include all supplies precut and individually packaged
by page. We also include close up color photos of each page.
Jen created this new kit using the new Travel Ledger papers, die cuts and transparencies from Teresa Collins Designs.
The album is 6x13 with 7 pages front & back. There are file folders,
pockets and tags through out the album. Other embellishments include
ribbons, trims, bling and pearls.
Kits are prepped and will be available for sale starting Friday.
We have had a few pre-orders from gals who have seen Jen working
on it and only have 6 kits available as of this afternoon.

Donna Downey Is Coming To Visit Us Again In July
Donna Downey will be coming to visit us again in Mid-July.
Donna is going to be in town mid July and asked if we would like
to host a few workshops again. Of course we said yes :)
The classes for these workshops will be limited to ***12 per class*** this time
with possibly 3 different classes.
We will post the sign up info in the next day or two & start taking signups
immediately. Classes sold out very quickly last time so if you are interested
feel free to email us at emiscrapbooking@aol.com if the store is not open at the time you read the class info :)
