Valentines Cards Class/Kit Sat 1-31-09 1-3pm $12

We have room in tomorrows Valentine's Cards class if anyone would like to join us or purchase a kit with full color pictures. This class/kit features papers by Fancy Pants, Teresa Collins, Creative Imaginations, Making Memories, and Basic Grey. We will also be using assorted chipboard, ribbon, buttons, transparencies and bling. The class will be offered on Tuesday, January 27th, from 6:30-8:30PM, and on Saturday, January 31st, from 1-3PM. The class fee is $12 and includes all supplies needed to make the cards.

Friday The 13th Friday Night Crop February 13th 6-11pm Free

We will be having our once a month Friday night crop for February on
Friday the 13th from 6pm-11pm. The crop is free but please email or
call the store to let us know if you are planning on coming so we can
seat those together who want to be :)

Our All Day FREE Crops will be every Saturday as usual in
February from 10:30am- 6/7/8pm as long as the cropping lasts :)

We received all of Teresa Collins Jan CHA Papers, Transparencies and Stamps
this morning from Family Matters, Journal It Girl and Documented. Everything
is checked in and out in the store. The albums should be shipping soon
and we will be getting the recipe line for an upcoming album class. Here are some project ideas and layouts from her blog using these new paper collections

We will be closed today. Thank you to everyone for
your kind emails and thoughts for Jennifer as she
deals with the loss of yet another close friend.

Monday Store News

Hi Everyone

It has been a hectic past 2 days here.

First of all on a very sad note my Jennifer lost yet another very close
friend yesterday. This is the 3rd friend from her "group" to pass away
at such a young age. This one has really hit her hard...She loved Cody
and spent so much time at his house we often referred to his house as the
"Wilson Inn". She has a picture of Ralph and Cody from her graduation
standing on each side of her and now she has lost both of them. This group
of 10-12 kids have shared a strong bond since elementary school that
many adults could only hope for in friends. They are always thinking
of each other...making sure they are all doing ok. Jen's phone has not
stopped ringing/texting today with everyone concerned about how
she is doing thru this...knowing that she is just at a loss as to why
this happened. So.....
I am not sure what the next few days will bring as far as
a memorial...funeral time etc. But I know that if she needs me with her then
I will probably have to close the store Wed or Thursday. I will post any hour
adjustments as soon as we hear what Cody's Mom is arranging.

A Few Morning Posts

Just a reminder that we will be closed today (Friday) for my follow up visit
from my dental surgery and to make sure everything is on track
for the next go round :)

morning 10-12noon.

The February Magazines are here and out in the store at
40% off until they are gone. Scrapbook Trends, Handmade &
Cards.

We have a few more classes by Patti which I will post later
today or tomorrow. We have a 2 page layout class/kit using
Basic Grey's new line Bittersweet and also a card class/kit
with Cosmo Cricket's Valentine line.

The Lucky Collection Is Here

This line was originally released by Creative
Imaginations this past fall. I have
never seen it in person until now; but the pics in
the catalog caught my eye several times.
The colors are terrific
and the die cut journal punch outs have
great sayings and designs. We received
several other sheets of the card stock
punch outs also along with 12x12 sheets of
matching polka dot felt, swatch books,
punch out flowers and more.

Happiness Accordion Album Class, 2/12 and 2/21, $23

Join us for this new class with Patti on Thursday, 2/12, from 6:30-8:30pm or Saturday, 2/21, from 1:00-3:00pm. In this class, we will be using a sliding accordion album and papers from Creative Imaginations, Narratives Line, along with assorted ribbons, trims, flowers, bling & more.

The class is $23.00 and includes all supplies and color pictures/directions. A few kits will be available for purchase if you can not attend the class.
