Wednesday 9-16-09 News

Everything went well with the dental surgery
yesterday. After 6 hours I have a whole new
upper right side. AMAZING...Now we only have
veneers on my front teeth and a few small details
and I am DONE...DONE...DONE..with this dental
makeover I started :)

My Jennifer was my DD and was a patient one.
She roamed around got her hair cut, did some
shopping and they called her when it was time
to pick me up. Unfortunatley I was not the best
semi conscieous patient. No wheel chair for me ..
thank you...but apparently I needed one :)
She was told to keep
me up and talking for 2 more hours. Not to
let me fall asleep. All I
remember on the ride home was Mom stay awake,
you cant fall asleep, come on work with me, talk
to me about something, mom you did it again... wake
up..(She should have talked about scrapping maybe
then I was have been a better participant)

Then we get home and she is checking the BP
with the wrist monitor every 15 minutes (like in the
hosital everytime you try to rest that thing goes off)
But since my BP soars at the dentist she was to take
it though out the night so my dentist would know when
he calls. Add to that Gerald calling
from out of town not once but 1,2,3,4,5+ checking on me and
asking her a ton of questions and reminding her what to do..
Poor Girl....
At one point I remember her coming in and checking to see if I drank
my Gatorade (yuck..so answer NO) then she informs me if I have to get
out of bed to go to the bathroom to call her that I was toooo woobly to
walk myself...HAVE THE PARENT ROLES REVERSE HERE ???? But I will say
for a 20 year old girl she was AWESOME and I will most definately
keep her :)

So with all said and done I will be in the store today
from 10:30 until 3/4pm. Just not sure I can make it all day.

Thursday we will be in there regular hours 10:30-5
Friday --A half day as we get ready to leave for our retreat
at Big Canoe this weekend.

We have more goodies coming in and more mini album classes/kits/crops etc to post but I will wait and do that when I am back home resting tonight.
