It's Great To Be Back

Today was such a fun day! (even
if it was only a half day per
the doctor/surgeon)

I had a fantastic time visiting with
so many gals, hearing about your holiday,
seeing your projects you made over the past
week or for one speedy scrapper the past
20 hours, looking at holiday photos and
just plain ole catching up. Not to mention
helping a new customer, Melody with her special
baby album gift for her best friend.

I took a few pics of some
of the show and tells with permission to share
on the blog and I will post those pics later
or tomorrow.

Tomorrow are few gals are coming to crop
during the day. This is a FREE crop so if
anyone wants to get out for a few hours
of cropping with us please come join us.

Susan is back at the Store

Hi Everyone


I got the okay from the doctor/surgeon to return
to the store for half days starting today :)

I hope to be able to return to normal hours late
next week. We have so many things in the works,
lots of new product coming in, several new kits
coming out etc. so I am anxious to get back to
the store full time. Now if my body would
just cooperate and recover quicker from everything :)

Hi Everyone

I am home and resting...as well as I can.

Lots of pain and trips to the potty every 30 minutes...
so not much sleep.

The surgery went well, they removed the gallbladder and
all those wonderful stones I didn't even know were
there. There captured the escaped stone that was blocking my
pancreas somehow and didnt find any others wandering around;
apparently there was some concern about my liver.

Within 24 hours my critical counts had come back to within 100 points
of normal..

I planned on being back at the store by today or Tuesday but
the doctor says no way. He would like me to stay home for a week
which is going to drive me nuts but after everything I went thru
Thursday night.....I guess I should listen to him.

I am hoping to have my daughter drive me to the store later this week
possibly Wednesday or so. But I am not sure at this point if I can open for the
day or not. I will definately post if I am able to open Wed or Thursday.

I hope everyone is enjoying all the last minute activities leading up to Christmas
and I miss seeing all you gals and your show and tells but I will be back in strong form soon :)

Store Closed thru Monday 12-17-07

The store will be closed Friday 12-14-07 thru Monday 12-17-07.

Susan's doctor sent her to the hospital last night with severe abdominal pains, she was admitted and is scheduled for surgery today to remove her gallbladder and for
pancreatis (SP)

She or I (Jennifer her daughter) will post an update later this weekend and send out an email with the annual clearance sale that will now run next week.

We will be closed all day Thursday.

middle of December Clearance Sale
starting this Saturday 12-15-07.

We have some new toys in the cropping area compliments of my hubby.

We now have an Epson Wide Format Printer and also a little HP Photo Smart flatbed scanner/printer.



We will be soon printing our own transparencies and some of the papers for our new kits.

We have the permission of Sawnee Ballet next door to print ballet themed papers with their name/logo on the papers.

Hopefully later this week I will have a chance to break open the boxes and play/create a little.

Coffee Mug Hot Chocolate Cards From Today's Crop

A few ladies were working on making 100 of these for co-workers today.
You slip a package of hot chocolate or a few tea bags down between the 2 layers of
the card and it's a mug of cheer :)

Everyone loved them and started making a few for themselves :)
