Our favorite man in brown brought us some goodies yesterday and today. I have not had a chance to take any pics yet but will tommorrow hopefully. I figure after my bad luck this past weekend (breaking the mirror Saturday morning.......spraining my ankle during the store yardsale Sat ...which I fractured only 6 months ago ...and then the slight mishap with the store microwave and some popcorn resulting in a bit of smoke during Saturday Night's Crop....(Veronica says I can't be left alone in my store on Saturdays anymore....everytime she left me something would happen)...So after all of that I figured I shouldnt risk using my wonderful daughter's Rebel while hobbling around the store today. She is only 17 but loves photography and her Rebel she got for Christmas.
Back to our man in brown......
We got in another line from Fancy Pants Key Lime...Very pretty shades of blues....greens...pinks...2 sheets have gorgeous flouishes...Of the 3 lines we have gotten CHA 2007 this is my favorite.....We also received the ribbons and rub-ons. From Imagination Project we received more of the Office Line ... some different papers than the ones we received last week.... different coasters & stickers...VERY VERY CUTE!!!!!!!! From the Gin-X Line (who has absolutely incredible service I must add) we received most of the As You Wish Collection.....Tommorrow our favorite man in brown should be bringing more goodies just in time for our almost sold out all day (14 hour) crop this Sat. As of tonight we have 4 spaces left so if anyone checking the blog would like to join us please give us a call we would love to spend the day/night scrapping with you. Autumn Leaves generously donated goodies for our crop and we have a couple of prizes from Daisy D and Fancy Pants for our Let's Make a Deal Sessions.
That's all for today. It's a rainy dreary night so this gal is off to curl up with all the latest mags and some tea and prop my ole leg up.
Nite :)

A quick note (well not really) from Veronica K.
Hey Everyone!
I know that I usually don't do the blogging here but, I was just uploading the May Calendar and I thought I would give a quick update on what we are planning for the next couple of weeks.
Yesterday I taught the Cosmo Cricket Dutch Girl album class. I saw lots of new faces and I really enjoyed meeting all of you. You all did such a great job and I hope to see everyone again soon. We still have a couple of kits available for that class so if you would like one, along with directions and photos call the store to reserve your kit.
Today's Book Club was oh soooo much fun as usual. I really look foward to seeing all of your very cool projects. Hopefully you guys can send me scans or pics soon, so that I can upload them to the Book Club Blog. If you want to check out what this group of very talented girls are doing you can click on the link to the right for their blog. Oh and we are always happy to have new members.
This Tuesday is the Mother's Day tin album class. I can't wait to see you guys there!
Saturday we are having our monthly all day crop. We have 6 spots left so if you are planning to come, but haven't yet reserved your spot, call the store as soon as possible.
May 5th is National Scrapbook Day! Who would have thought that we would get a day all to ourselves. We scrapbookers ROCK! We're planning to celebrate all day and we would love it if all of you could join us. We will be having a Hybrid Scrapbooking Class from 10am to12pm. In this class you will see how to use your computer to make your own transparency frames as well as really cool journaling tags. You will leave with a completed brag book for you or a gift for someone special. Space is limited, so call and reserve your spot as soon as possible. We will be cropping from noon until midnight. The cost will be $15 and it will include two make and takes, goodies, snacks and dinner. Anyone who wants to come just for make and takes can do so between 1 and 5pm for a small fee. If that wasn't enough, we will be raffling off a large Tim Holtz Junk Bag filled with goodies. For every $20 spent you will get a raffle ticket, then on Sunday we will pick our lucky winner.
Well I think that is all for now. Most of the class samples should be uploaded in the next week and like Susan said we have been super busy ordering all kinds of cool new stuff. Love that!

New Goodies are due in Tuesday/Wednesday
I just did a quick tracking check and our goodies from Junkitz (Extreme Boy and Fanciful Flowers) are enroute along with our GIN-X Office Line Items. We should have all of these new goodies in our little hands by Tuesday/Wednesday :) I have to say Junkitz and their staff are one of my favorites for retailer customer service. I talked to the gals there several times last week and not only are they sooooooooo nice and accomodating on the phone but Junkitz is shipping the May Release Fanciful Flowers ***EARLY*** which with CHA new releases is practically unheard of :)

Tuesday April 3rd 2007
Ok today's the day. I have decided to really work hard on keeping the store blog up to date with all the new goodies we get in and all the store happenings.
We have been soooooooo slammed with shipments of new items and placing yet more orders that I havent had a chance to do anything with our store blog. We have received new goodies from Creative Imaginations, 2 lines from Autumn Leaves along with 10 styles of new acrylics, more Bazzill Bling, WRW Coppered Out Line, all the new Fancy Pants goodies including the new acrylics, Daisy d's Chasing Butterflies and Beacon Hill lines including all the rub-ons and more...more...more
Veronica has been wonderful about posting all the store/class samples and the calendar. My goal is to post pics of all the new goodies when they come in along with pics of our classes, crops and happenings :) Of course I am a blog rookie so it will be interesting how it goes :)
We have lot of cool things happening the next few months at the store so hopefully I will be posting alot.
I do want to let everyone know that during this week of Spring Break we
will be closing Monday-Thursday at 5:00pm (April 2nd-5th) and we will be closed on Easter Sunday April 8th to spend the day with our families :)
Upcoming Events include
Our 2nd Yard Sale on Saturday April 21st 9:00am-2:00pm
Weather permitting we will be setting up and selling along the sidewalk in front of the store. Just like last fall there will*** not be any fee*** to participate. Sellers are asked to supply their own table/tables, change fund and bags. *** Everyone keeps 100% of what they sell.*** EMI will be distributing flyers, have a sign down by the road and provide a light breakfast/drinks. We have several ladies already signed up but have plenty of room for more. Last fall the items for sale ranged from
tools, albums, stickers, paper packs, die cuts, Sizzix machines and accessories to idea books/mags. For those who would like to make a day of it with us. Veronica is teaching what I think is her BEST class yet.
The covered Bo Bunny Album with very detailed pages inside using
Cosmo Crickets Dutch Girl line. This would make a terrific Mother's Day gift, Teacher's gift or keepsake for yourself. I am going to sit in on the class and make one for my Mom :) After the class we will be having our
usual Crop and Snack from 6:00pm-12midnight. We would love to have everyone make a day of it with us :)
Our next all day crop is schedule for Saturday April 28th 10:00am-12:00 midnight. This past month (March 24th) the all day crop sold out with 20 ladies spending the day with us. We have already started taking sign ups for April 28th so if you can join us please call us asap to make sure to get a spot. Since this is the week before National Scrapbook Day we will have some special goodies and prizes that day.
I think that's all for this afternoon and I will be back tommorrow to post :)
